Hi all, I'm half of acoustic duo 'Mutual Friend'. We are currently planning our debut EP and are on the lookout for other musicians to come on board to fill out our sound. We would particularly be interested in acquiring a percussionist / bass player / keyboard player but we're very open to trying out any instruments that would add another dimension to our music. Vocals are always an added bonus, but not essential.

We would describe our sound as mainly laid-back bluesy, with a bit of indie / funk thrown in - basically anything goes really so long as it suits. We would also be interested in getting a full band together to play rockier stuff, even just to bring in the bacon for a while.. The focus however will always primarily be on writing and gigging original material. (which sadly doesn't pay great - initially at least )

Far too many to list.. but include Led Zeppelin, Pixies, Pearl Jam, Paolo Nutini, Neil Young, Joni Mitchel, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Foo's, Hozier, Arcade Fire, The Clash, Bowie, The Doors, The Police, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Gomez... Basically a serious mix of anything that sounds good!
