ABOUT

Looking for musical dissidents to revolt against the current cataclysm and abomination that is our current "music scene!" Seriously, what went wrong?

Spent years as a drummer, now looking to go into guitar playing. I can play almost anything, anything I can't play I work hard at. My style varies, I can mix metal with jazz with funk and pop and so on. I'm seeking to play music with the guitar technical ability of prog rock/metal yet songs that are kept short, cheeky and song writing oriented. I'm classically trained but don't let that intimidate you, all levels welcome.
I'm not looking to join metal only bands, cover bands, nor am I willing to return to drums for now, sorry. I'm also looking to be the sole guitar player of the band due to the technical ability required to play this kind of stuff.
Side note: I mostly prefer a female vocalist due to the higher frequency and octaves in pitch that can be reached but am willing to listen to any singer who wants to at least try.
