My background is primarily as a songwriter / guitarist / singer for an Indie band. Would have had airplay on RTE / 6Music, played festivals, spotify playlisted etc.

Looking to start a new band - I have 2 albums of material written. One is fairly psychedelic pop sounding (Velvet Underground / Beach Boys / Joe Meek / Flaming Lips / Mercury Rev ).

The other idea is kinda of a melting pot of Folk-rock / Americana / RnB / Country Rock / Rock & Roll ( The Band / Wilco / Dylan / Tom Petty / Van Morrison) .

Would like this to be successful - as well as fun - so I am looking for experienced live and studio players and who are dedicated, available and keen to do something worthwhile. Probably weekly evening rehearsals (Dublin).

Open to any instruments that would work with the above description.

A real groove would be important. Creative musicians into arranging a song well, cool licks and hooks - not endless solos. Lots of energy and dynamics, a really fun live experience.
